Greetings friends:
I have been working like most here with clients for stop smoking and weight loss. My stop smoking sessions are just a single session with a follow up if they are needed. I ask my clients to call a week later and let me know how it is going. So far I haven't recieved a single call back letting me know. I have called a few people afterwards (say a day or two) and they say things are going fine but I'd like some more long term feedback from clients. How do you deal with this?

Don't charge them and explain it's an experiment in your effectiveness.

It's my guess you are doing this free of charge, am I right? If so, charge them $100.00 and see how fast you get a call back......Nobody values that which is free, but will be quick to complain if they don't get their monies worth....Besides it removes the idea that you are in doubt when they have to do the calling....First call $100.00, second call free if needed.

Ring them back later rather than sooner

I charge a fee (not a $100) and call them a few days afterwards to find out how they are doing. I have yet to get a call back.
My concern is if it isn't working then I need to change something but with no feedback I have no idea how effiective I am being with them.

Hi Castle
I would suggest you first not to "ask" them but to hypnotically communicate the importance of that feedback call to them.
Your clients probably are thinking: What's In It For Me? Why should "I" call "Him"?
If they don't have any reason to do so, why should they anyway?
Here's an idea: If you do charge them, that's great. Create a short "Reinforcement" CD of about 10 minutes. A bit of music, some suggestions and that's it, something short. When you're done with the one-session with a client, tell him that a part of the session is a gift or a free CD to him - an Hypnotic Reinforcement CD, something that will "nail" the changed habit in place, and they should here it for 3 days - starting 10 days after the session... However, you are supposed to get new supply of CD's and you ask them to call you "next tuesday" (or whenever you want) and ask you to send it - that is, if they "really do" want to complete the program with 100%... you see what I mean?
If you do it right, they will feel they "must" get and use that CD. They will call. No one pays for something and forgets about it.
Hello,
There are three main reasons a client doesn't call back apart from being dead.
1. It worked and they've forgotten that you were the catalyst or believe they gave up entirely by themselves with 'willpower'.
2. It didn't work and they are embarrassed that they 'failed'.
3. It didn't work and are not pushy people so will not demand the fee back.
They put it down to experience.
Be pleased if it's the first, you've done your job. You have no control over 2 and 3 but they are dangerous for your reputation, so...
At the end of a session you can always inject a post hypnotic to the effect that they will call you in 7 or 10 days time whatever happens.

i reacon that people are more likely to phone back and complain that it didnt work, so if you dont hear anything then
