Hmm, consult a local psychic perhaps?
Ask your barber, they know everything...

If that doesn't work out, you can consult the internet, the yellow pages, and professional organizations with referral services such as the NGH http://www.ngh.net National Guild of Hypnotists. Are you in the US? You will want to check out the person's credentials and experience, membership in professional organizations, (and check out those organizations, too), ask for client references and success stories relating to your issue, see/speak with the therapist to find out if you feel comfortable, and so on.

Oexster,

Most people, hypnotists included, aren't sufficiently aware of the
emotional mindsets that are involved in "prudent" trading. There is a
very interesting book on the subject of the psychology of trading
and if you are interested, I'll try to post the exact title -- for
educational purposes only, not as a recommendation to follow
or apply anything from the book. It is not a hypnosis book.

You just may not want a local. I believe Docresults right here on this Forum can do this. It is modeling Warren Buffet. Whether he has the time I just could not say.

Stock trading really is not difficult at all. It does take time and a lot of research. Got the time for the research?

Pood :)

Quick, what famous entertainer is related to Warren Buffet? The
winner gets a virtual kiss from me. I sure hope it isn't a guy that
provides this answer. ;)

The Margaritaville guy? Jimmy Buffett?

Congratulations, Connie, or maybe not. I read, in an authoritative publication,
that Jimmy is a nephew of Warren. I just did a quick search on
this and see that some have said that this isn't so. I don't know what to do
about the prize. This may have to go to forum arbitration. :)

I'll settle for a virtual hug. :)

Warren Buffett bought my cousin's company. From what I hear, he's an extremely nice man. And he sure likes my cousin's wife's cookies.

I accept Connie's offer of a virtual hug settling this issue. Simple Guy,
who is glad to provide this useful example of rapport-based resolution of
disputes. :)

Connie,

As he is known to buy quality, this probably speaks well of your
cousin's company. Happy to know that you heard that he is
"an extremely nice man." I know some very successful people
who are genuinely that way. Perhaps he'd care to finance
a market launch of your cousin's wife's cookies? ;)

that he's not overly happy about wearing a suit and doing his globe trotting. So so much more at home in a flannel shirt and fleecie bottoms. Also eats at McDonalds...used to be DQ until he sold them. LOL!!

Very interesting thought...I own a very, very tiny piece of Connie's cousin's business. Small world!! What would be the chances of that? Pood ;)

Do you know what, specificly, you want to change?

NLP is typically a better application for stock trading issues.
