I live in the UK, and have just decided for definite that I am going to seek treatment from a hypnotherapist.
I don't know how to choose the right therapist though. I've been told that the Britsh Hypnotherapy (http://www.uncommonforum.com/glossary/hypnotherapy.html) Association is the best organisation, as they demand 4 years of training before a therapist can be registered, but they only have people registered in London http://www.uncommonforum.com/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif
I live in the North West so it is a 4 hour journey to London if I drive or get the train.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to a good hypnotherapist in the north of England?
Is it true that the other registers for hypnotherapists in the UK don't maintain strict guidelines as to who is on them so not everyone listed will be sufficiently skilled?
