Hello all!

I have a strong desire to be trained in hypnosis and NLP. Does it matter which one I take first, or is it better to do them in a certain order?

I greatly appreciate your help.

Thank you.

and I think it provides a good foundation for NLP (JMHO).

I recommend learning both concurrently, if possible. That was the route I took with my initial training, which included both. They flowed together and complement each other wonderfully. However, If I had to pick just one as in introduction, I'd go for NLP.

Well, that helps a lot, doesn't it?
You'll get votes for hypnosis first, NLP first, both together...
What to do?

Me? I'd take the one which comes available locally first.

Thank you for the answers and opinions, pmdigi, Connie, and Merlin.

Merlin, you're absolutely right! Two replies, two opinions. Good to see I get both sides of the story.

I chose NLP first. After consideration and looking at the training and what it provides, NLP is the right choice for me at this time.

Thank you for the help.

p.s.- Merlin, I 'stole' your signature to use as my signature on the fantasy football forum I visit. Great quote! Thanks!

If you feel it's right for you, it's a good choice.

Just to add to the confusion - I studied both Hypnosis and NLP concurrently. There are many ways in which each compliments the other - but I agree also that if you're really keen to get started, you'll pick the course which is available first. Happy learning!
