I am new and I'm very interseted in hypnotism and instant rapid inductions. I really want to learn how to do them and I can't find any useful resources on the internet without you having to pay astronomical prices for a book. Does anybody have alink or can explain to me the basics of this process.

Thanks

Without trying to be snide, the basics are simply this:
1) Get around that part of the mind which prevents a person from achieving his or her goals
2) Then work with that part of the mind which helps a person achieve his or her goals in a way that part of the mind can understand and use.

The thing is, putting this information to use through books is like reading about how to ride a skateboard and then thinking you're an expert thrasher, or reading about playing guitar and then thinking you are the next Slash before you've ever played a lick. Hypnosis is like that. It's experiential.

Books and websites are great for teaching you about hypnosis. The best way to learn to do hypnosis is to get trained. If you just want a basic training, this isn't very expensive at all. There are weekend classes taught all over for between $100 and $400 dollars. This may seem like a lot, but it can be less than buying four or five good books and you'll certainly learn a lot more and be sure that you're learning correctly.

So start saving those pennies, and in a short time you'll have enough money to get a good training. From their on, the sky's not even the limit.

So sorry to inform you that you will have to pay "astronomical prices" to attend a good hypnosis training. There is a difference in "my world" as to the meanings of rapid inductions and instant inductions. The induction is simply the first step and the easiest. Then comes the difficult part...just what do you say to these people in trance...how do you not cause abreactions...what do you do if one should occur...how can you be sure your suggestions will work and stay with the client.

Could very well be that the owner of this little ole Forum would be interested in teaching you ALL the skills you will need. It's sorta like that old song: "You got the money honey, I got the time."

If you think a book is "astronomical" in cost, I don't know what you'd consider training fees--but training is the best way to learn to "do." It's like anything else in life, if you want it, there's going to be an expenditure. Of time and/or money, of effort. Something. Knowledge and skill doesn't just drop in your lap, you have to work for it. But if you're seriously interested, it's WORTH IT!!!

To the poster, and indeed to all who ask that same question of us daily...
You get exactly what you pay for, and you it seems see so little value in hypnosis that you will certainly not be satisfied with what you get for what you are willing to pay. By all means follow Anthony's suggestion and Google, you will get it free, nobody promises it will work of course, but it will be enough to screw up your friends and anyone else who is foolish enough to let you play with their minds....
In the process of showing us how much you "value" our skills, you insult us, and then expect us to help you..???? A facinating concept, but doomed to failure....
A weekend with me would cost you $500.00 so presume if you wish that I am a con artist or see it as value for money, and that there is much to hypnosis, that is of value far beyond your perception. Incidentally, a weekend with me would only be available it you were already skilled, I don't teach the basics. A basic course that has any value would last far beyond a weekend, and would cost much more

Then they didn't get into good hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is justly called a form of "brief" therapy. It may take months or years before a person is ready for change, so even trying to have therapy at that time will either fail or rapidly return to the unwanted status quo. However any real therapy is very rapid. All change is instantaneous.

You get exactly what you pay for

I second that, with one minor change, something like:
"You don't get what you don't pay for"
The phrasing is awkward, but what i mean is this:

You really mustn't expect to get quality training for next to nothing. If you pay low - you never get high.
However, unfortunately there ARE con-artists in this field (and i am NOT referring to anybody in this forum, or any professional hypnotherapists). This means that many times when you pay high, you actually get pretty low.To sum things up - you must check who you're buying from. And if they're good - you shouldn't expect them to be cheap.

AnthonyRoyce, obviously.
But that can change.
He can stick around and 'get a clue'
