I don’t know that much about NLP having not done any formal training therein. Having said that, there are two specific NLP techniques which I should like to learn correctly, and incorporate in my hypnotherapy practice – these are, Anchoring, and Timeline. I have come across a few Video offerings which sound interesting, namely Artful Anchoring, Advanced Anchoring, and 3-D Mind by essential-skills.com. Has anybody found these to be worthwhile, and could anyone recommend a good course on Timeline Therapy? I expect some will say, if you want to learn NLP, do it correctly by starting at the beginning – well, I am considering that, but I’m not yet convinced - in the meantime, I want to get my feet wet, but I want to get my feet wet with something which I find interesting (I don’t want to start at the beginning with rapport, etc. because quite frankly I find that bores me to death.)

Timeline therapy is not the same as NLP timelines (they are related though).
You can learn about Timeline Therapy from http://www.timelinetherapy.net/

Dear Oki Mo,
The guy(s) behind essential-skills.com are long known to me.
I was a student under the same trainer they studied under, while they were there. IMO they dumbed down the skills ...
But then you might be just caught up in my envious opinions.
There is better out there, IMO almost anywhere you could look.

Many thanks for your replies. I’ll check out the material available on the sites you mentioned and elsewhere – I’ll probably start with Tad James course on Timeline Therapy, and see what develops from there.

Hi woman behind the curtain....
In just what way is Time Line Therapy, and NLP Timelines different?
I can, myself, think of a couple of answers, such as TLT has a more limited flexibility, you would quite often have to use NLP patterns or hypnosis to get the results (I remember Tad´s Right James telling that they were a group of people using deep trance to deal with the heavy stuff)
TLT is registered by tad james...apart from this, how are TLT not part of the NLP field?
