I know this is a dumb question, but here goes. Today I lost something that was very important to me. I missplaced it in my house and now I am devastated. Would being hypmotized help me to find it. Its worth it to me to spend the money. Would I have any luck remembering where I put my lost object? Or would it be a waste of money and time.
Hello,
It should be simple for a skilled hypnotherapist to help you recall where the lost item is if you have lost it and not had it stolen. You have all the information in your subconscious.

I agree with Jack, I'm just wording it differently.
If the item has been misplaced by you, your subconscious should know where it is. Hypnosis would work fine.
If it has been moved by other than you, hypnosis wouldn't help. (moved by the neighbor's dog, kids, whatever).
Hypnosis may not be 100% effective if you dropped it, then kicked it or something.

not all information is permanently sotred in the subconcious mind, i think that the subconcious sometimes works for memory like a recycle bin where after a while of non-usage the memory is automaticaly transfered to your subconcious and after a while more , gets deleted (so it depends if you find it) depends how much time passed since you lost it and how important you thought that it was at the moment before you lost it (not after)
the sub-conciousness is not a limitless storage facility, it has its boundaries (Which can be extended, but with practice)
all the luck finding it, if it wil bring you joy (and not hurt you)
