I just want to know if possible how a psychoanalyst would go about hypnotizing a patient to bring the unconscious out. What questions do they ask, how do they get the patient to cooperate, ect.
To the best of my knowledge, a psychoanalyst (a specific term describing an MD trained in the process of Freud's "talk" therapy) do not use hypnosis. Freud began his career by learning hypnosis, but was no good at it and eventually stopped practicing it.
Psychotherapists of other methods may use hypnosis, but the induction and suggestions will vary depending upon how they were trained and the purpose of putting a person into trance.
