I was wondering if with anchoring you can make someone to jump, or lift their right hand, etc. I ask this because I know that with anchoring you can get people to do things they are not aware of. If this is not possible with anchoring is possible with something else ?

Thanks

"Make someone to jump."

Why do you want to? How about jumping out from behind a bush and shouting "boo?"

I "think" you are getting hypnosis and NLP a little bit confused and they do get a little blurred in this matter. Yes, it can be done in NLP but not with anchoring. It is called a Pattern Interrupt. There are various ways to use them from verbal to kinesthetic. Do a search on the Forum for Pattern Interrupts or as Skip calls them -- the Ditsy Blonde Technique.

An example of the kinesthetic would be a handshake interrupt which Erickson used so very elegantly and has been made very simple by Richard Bandler. Suppose for a moment that you go into a very dark room that has the light switches on the "wrong" side of the door. Your hand automatically reaches up and it's not there -- this produces a moment of confusion in your mind. One takes advantage of that "moment of confusion". In my home I have one "built in". The storm door handle goes up, not down. People get very confused and play with the lock, lock themselves in and never think to make the handle go up. It's just not done! I could have all kinds of things going on with that one.

You can purchase Bandler's version of the handshake interrupt on the DVD of Neuro-Hypnotic Repatterning. Yes, as with all Bandler products, it's expensive. Pood :)

Precious,

With an anchor your can make someone jump, if you remove it from the
boat and threaten to hit him/her on the head with it. Is there any
reason someone here should give you info. to "make" anyone do
anything? As for the "lift of their right hand," I'll respond, though, this
way: lots of patriotic people of different nations respond to the sight of
their own flag with feelings of pride, which may be accompanied
by a lifting of their right hands to their hearts. The flag is, for
them, a visual anchor.

Poodle - Thanks for your answer, as usual very serious and useful. Could you recomment me a few books, or programs about Pattern Interrupt please.

Thanks

There is something you really need to learn. NLP is not a game. The bottom line in NLP and hypnosis is one word: ECOLOGY. Yes, NLP can easily give you access to more and better but one still has to watch the ecology.

This reminds me of an exercise that Skip's trainer required. To buy something at a jewelry store that doesn't take returns and return it simply using the NLP that you had been taught up to that point. NLP can be extremely powerful and is not a child's game to make someone jump or do anything else stupid.

Where did I learn them? I really don't remember. I guess just using my mind to make them up. Pood

It is most definitely "pattern disrupt"... but sometimes you will gain something you didn't expect, and don't want... Messing there is on the verge of black magic... In magic there is always payment... Trouble is you never know what the payment is to be until you are paying the bill... Don't play here, unless you are prepared for some real big hurt, or difficult sudden challenge... Or forget the hurts, and if you're like me, have a pardy doing whatever the h you feels like doing.. and deal with the nasties as they approach.. like how I take the heads of approaching attacking RV'ers...

I recall a classic PD I did on a beach, for a small group of buds, just to illustrate the mind's powers to dolts... I points, and says, "see that young lass over there laying face down on her towel with her top strap untied... You Watch!.. Within 60-seconds she will turn over, forgetting that her strap is untied... They all counted, and drooled in expectation.. "16, 17, 18, 19, 20".. HolySh*d", cries-out the excited little group in perfect harmony...
She forgot it wasn't strapped... She received quite the applause...

This isn't a nice thing to do.. but it's a good skill to have under your belt, for unrelated emergencies...

Actually, only incompetent magicians "never know what the payment is to be." Ones who are actually trained discover this in advance. That way they can be assured of the desired results and "payment," or learn how to overcome unwanted effects or further desired ones.

You are in for a big surprise should you ever some how manage to trigger some real magic... Things are a hell of a lot bigger than you might expect.. like the dragon that walked on my queen-size bed, splitting every piece of wood in the bed frame... I had to buy a new bed... Magic and Sorcery is not a place to play for kiddies, as I hope you know...

Are you familiar with "Bagwan Rashnesh"..? One of his fresh students was visiting me, and sleeping next to me, when I feels something sucking on my side just near my kidney... It was her wooden medallion, stuck to my skin, rocking like suckling... I smashed it off my skin... It tumbled to the sheet... There were two tiny red dots on my skin, which bled readily when slightly squeezed...
When I flipped it over, the tiny vampire face, of the black and white photo in the medallion, nipped at my finger, with tiny fangs, which skidded of my fingerprints, pulling a bit of skin.. I watched the little face change back into the bearded preacher... I pulled a gray featureless figure from the medallion, and destroyed it... I pulled a larger darker-gray figure out of my guest, and destroyed that too...
Suddenly an East Indian face was charging at me from the East... It's mouth wide open.. all its teeth barred... all its teeth pointy... Its claws aimed at me.. and screaming mad for me having killed two of its babies, of its vampire feeding-pipeline... I defeated it with cosmic fire.. then placed the medallion in a sealed jar, out of the bedroom... I kicked that possessed female out of my apartment...

Point being.. Should you trigger some powerful magic against you, you've got only seconds to do the right things, or you can get dead very fast...

I doubt you have a clue about magic.. All you've got is gutsy empty words, and brass-balls...
You never know what the payment is till you are paying it.. and that's "cosmic law"...

Donald, may I offer you a suggestion? You see, you jumped into the adult section when you should be confining your comments to the kiddy sec... The person you are jousting with is indeed competent in magic as well as therapy, so not only have you entered into the wrong section, you have picked on the wrong person to argue with. GOOD LUCK. :D
Always ensure you are on solid ground, or speaking to the ignorant when you impose on others without the skill to back up what you say...

LOL!!!

Donald J., Skip was kind enough to delete your post because, well, I won't go into that here. However, I'll gladly undelete it just so people can see what you've done to yourself.

My friend, I have been triggering real magic probably longer than you've been alive. I have personally trained thousands of people in how to do real magic--or as I prefer, magick as it's not magic tricks. Some of my writings have trained over 150,000 people to do real magick. Numerous real magickal groups, both small and large, use my writings as the basis for what they do. I have personally taught people in every state of the U.S. (except Alaska) as well as in Europe. My writings have been translated into numerous languages and are available all over the world. This coming weekend I'll be at an event in San Jose, California, teaching for somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 people. Every day I get email from people around the world thanking me and asking for my guidance in their magickal work.

These forums, however, are not commercial and I have never advertised my writings here.

I personally know, and have worked with, many of the most important contemporary magickians in the world, including leaders of some of the world's largest magickal Orders. I have seen everything from instantaneous healings of cancer tumors to the destruction of objects, one-by-one, throughout a room by no physical hand. I have seen levitations and people become transparent and translucent.

Dragons? That's kid stuff!

The point being, you should have your wards up, constantly and consistently, so that magick used against you has no effect. Only someone who is foolish or overconfident lets that get away from him or her (a topic in my first novel, soon to be released).

No, I'm not going to get into a magickal battle with you. I stopped playing "fort" back when I was five or six and I have far more interesting things to do.

If someone is magickally attacked and they claim to be a magickian, either they are an amateur, over confident, or incompetent. I have no doubt that what you reported is accurate. From your post and your attitude, combined with your spelling, it appears that you're just an amateur. Maybe someday you'll play with the big kids.

_____________

That's the "kid's stuff"... Those items are the tricks... I.E.: the "transparent" is merely an induction of three particular glands in convergence... Happens just before the eyes commence showing flashing white triangles... It ain't magic nor majik.. neither is calming a square mile of turbulent sea shore, which is too easy.. neither is instant healing healing.. neither is controlling the winds.. but the little green fire on my thumb is...

When I was 3-months old uncle Merlin placed a ruby on my chest, and I watched it sink into my chest, and disappear... His great smile, and his flashing rainbow colored suit, had me giggling and kicking my feet and arms in the air...

Ok.. no probs.. you don't want what I have.. if you did you wouldn't have pissed in my face.. which tells me you aren't worthy of this stuff... You would only hurt yourself and others with it...

Byebye goonies...

..and I ain't gonna tell you were I dumped your attacker RV points.. except to say that they are lost somewhere in the universes...

Interesting how some people, when confronted with knowledge, revert to childhood, take their ball and go home. Oh well...

He explained himself, perfectly in my mind, in his first post! He said he likes to show off (what he imagines he knows) to those who don't know any better, "dolts." Since none of us here are dolts, I knew his tenure would be brief and a somewhat rude awakening for him. I decided not to watch the show, he's been on ignore since day one.
