Basic formula for meta state changework: ps primary state - ms meta state

<negative ps>
<ms>i feel Sc about <ps>
<ms>>when you think about your Sc'ness about <ps> what do you think about?
<ms>>>I Fr that y
<ms>>>>what beliefs do you have that comprise your Fr'ing about y
<ms (identify beliefs)>>>>>a, b, c
<ms (reframing)>>>>>>change a, b, c to a*, b*, c* (or x, y, z)
<return to ps*>
<ps*>
If <negative ps> then <run: meta change work program <ms>

All feedback appreciated.

I'll haveto save that for when the printer is hooked up so I can really read it well. Will get back to you in a PM. Hugs,Pood :)

I appear to have lost the plot - or just missed it .......... erm that means nothing to me - Pood - does it make more sense printed!?!?

Help! Explain please:)

Okay, I've refined it a little with some maxims and arrows - maybe makes more sense now?

Principle: meta states govern (determine, control, operate upon) primary states.

Primary states = fully associated experience = how you feel without reflecting how you feel

Meta states = states governing how you feel, and states governing states governing how you feel, and states governing states governing states governing states about how you feel.... etc.

Basic formula for meta state changework: ps = primary state - ms = meta state - msp = meta state program

<ps>
<msp>how do you feel about <ps>
<ms>i feel Un about <ps>
<msp>>when you think about your Un'ness about <ps> what do you think about?
<ms>>>I Wr that y
<msp>>>>what beliefs do you have that comprise your Wr'ing about y
<ms (identify beliefs)>>>>>a, b, c (etc.)
<ms (reframing)>>>>>>change a, b, c (etc.) to a*, b*, c* (etc.) or x, y, z (etc.) etc.
or run
<msp>>>>>how do you feel about a,b.c (etc.) then return to <ms reframing>>>>>>
If/when a,b,c (etc.) = x,y,z (etc.) then stop <msp>
<return to ps*>
<ps*>
If/when <ps> = <negative ps> then run: <msp>

Cheers
Soren :)

Soren, you are into programming, right?

Without printing it out and going into detail I think you may find the answers you are seeking in Using Your Brain For A Change by Bandler and edited by Connirae and Steve Andreas. It's from 1985.

I don't know if you ever saw those ads in the 80's.. that suggestion is like adding Helman's to a dry looking salad. Yes! I will re-read it (again) since you've suggested it Ma, and relate it to this new understanding.

I'm attempting to clarify a command program. How do you get to find out what you need to change?

A few years back, I used to play Jedi Outcast (JK2) both online (multiplayer) and the single player game - very addictive, I was pretty hooked on it for a long time and confess I still pander to that addiction occasionaly. However, one of the features of the game was an item of inventory you picked up called (I think) a 'seeker droid'. There is a scene in the original Star Wars where Luke Skywalker gets one of his first trainings using the lightsaber with one of these droids, aboard the Millenium Falcon - right about when Alderon gets carved up by the death star and C3PO gives up attempting to beat Chewbacca at 'chess'. In the game, JK2, (what I'm calling) the 'seeker droid' would float just above your left or right shoulder, riding along with you wherever you go until it got destroyed from enemy fire. It's purpose simply to assist you on your mission (firing its own laser shots at the enemy) quite of its own accord. I'm thinking of this meta state program as something a bit like this. Its a very simple little program. Only 10 lines (so far)! It very quickly gets straight to the point. It says. "You got a problem?" "Okay, now I'm gonna kick your ass - faster than you can make a cup of tea." "What is the problem?" "Why is that the problem?" "What constitutes the problem "Okay problem, now you're f******, I'm replacing you." "Get replaced." "Now I'll stfu and you can carry on my friend" :)

I'm learning this stuff just now, I've not grasped it all fully yet, but it is deepening by the moment. Changing the meta states (the state about fully associated experience - and/or the state(s) about the state(s) about the fully associated experience... etc.) by either reframing it... or better yet, replacing it all together - has the power to quite naturally alter the primary state. Change the meta state, and you change its subordinates. Once the changes have been made (up there at the meta levels), switch off the program and enjoy... :) Ahhh...mmm...... Yes. yes, yes. A new/ new meta state(s) has been programmed and the meta state program can end - forget about that now... enjoy being the new software. If/when the code generates instability, no problem, climb back up there a while. This program, or some yet to be refined version of it, shows you the way.. (Don't forget to stop!)

Soren, you are into programming, right?

Now please think about this ... let's just call it Artificial Intelligence.

(go ahead, try it on)
