Hi all,
I'm new to hypnosis - I started learning a couple weeks ago, so I'm far from being a master hypnotist. It IS fun, though, and looks powerful.
I started out by buying a course, after reading some interesting learn to Hypnotize reviews, at a reviews site.
The course i bought was conversational hypnosis. So far it seems great - but again, I'm too new to give full data on it.
My main interest is in learning to hypnotize others, but also self-hypnosis, of course.
Wish me luck. And hope to be here often.

A small but valuable piece of advice if I may. Concentrate on the Self Hypnosis first or you may find great difficulty in using it later. When developing skills yourself, you will find you are likely to be critical of method to the exclusion of entering into trance.
The advantage is that you know just what the client's experiences are.

Welcome. I'm sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I do hope the course you purchased is not "conversational indirect". If it is, the most you will get out of it are a few nice language patterns that will come in handy when you decide to really study hypnosis. Don't know if they offer refunds or not. One good thing, any knowledge really never goes to waste and you will be able to utilize it in the future.
Please read posts and, of course, Merlin's FAQ's and book list. Skip has also made an excellent book list that is buried somewhere back in there.
Be well,
Pood :)

There is a product called "The Power of Conversational Hypnosis" and I think that's what generallyspeaking is referencing.
It seems to be quite a thorough product and I've just purchased it recently myself. I'm actually planning to start working as an affiliate for them, but I won't post an affiliate link here.
Anyhow, just wanted to clarify the confusion as to which product is being mentioned.
Also, as an amature, I'd be interested if any of you pros have positive or negative to say about your experience with the product?

what have you learned in these 8 months? Was this in person with lots of practice on other students?
Conversational just seems to be another name for Ericksonian from my POV. What about yours?

"Conversational Hypnosis"? An interesting term is it not? Can you suggest how one might use hypnosis without any conversation taking place?
I ask, not because I don't have an answer, but because I want to see what you might have to say on the subject, since you are using this term as against "hypnosis" period and are recommending the course, which supposes that you have absorbed the contents, and are familiar with other trainings also......:)

Is this the same power of conversational hypnosis course put together by Igor Ledochowski ?
