<sigh>
Darren Brown is a magician. He gives the impression that he is using hypnotic language techniques, but that is merely a way to cover the way his tricks work. If you wish to know about his tricks, please go to any of the various magicians' supply stores on line or in your area.

Yes, libraries stock NLP & Hypnosis books, but if not they can often be specially ordered. (At least I know that is so for UK libraries, don't know about anywhere else).

Charlie, in the U.S. there is something called "interlibrary loan" which does this. Sometimes you must ask your library bout it as it may not be well-known. College and university libraries usually know far more about it.

Don,

Yes, it's similar in the UK.

Don't it make you feel all warm an' snuggly just thinking how much the UK & USA have in common?

Why, any moment, I may have to rush out to 'the mall' for a gigantic apple pie, and a good ole sing-song of 'gawd blesh americah', yesireee!

Yeehah!

I belive it was Shaw who said that England and America were two countries separated by a common language.

England and America are two countries separated by a common language.:-)
Perhaps it's just me, but that quote sounds a bit trancey to me! (mildly gives me the spins)

You should know that many of those posting here have no idea of the differences between England Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Now my dad's parents came from Wales as it happens, but I see no problem with being called English, even though my mother was from Ireland, so I have no English blood in me at all, in spite of being born in Birmingham, and serving in the RN.....Taking umbridge at a comment that was born from ignorance, not insult is foolish....Anyway, I recently found out that we even have Scotish blood as well so I guess that makes me multinational (EG) "Gord save the bloody queen I say"........

PLEASE TO BE SENDING ME WHO THIZ DARREN BRONS IS?
WHAT IS HIZ HANDS DONING UNDER THE TABLES WELSHGUYMIKEY?
TELL ME HIZ MANY TECHNIQUES IS THIS HIPMOSIS OR IS THIS MLP?
his hands arent under the table, and i have just read how he does it, i was incorrect when i said i know how he DOES do it, i should have been more specific and said i have read a transcript on his method that MAYBE how he does it.

derren brown is a mentalist, some one who does not claim to be a pyscic but can do many of the tricks that Psycics can do such as mind reading, supposidly he does it by useing NLP, Hypnosis and some magic tricks.

if you search on teh internet im sure you will find plenty of information on him.

I'm English and wouldn't like to be called Welsh or anything else because I'm not, so the point is fair. I would particularly despise being mistaken for French however.:eek: They killed one of my relatives at Waterloo and another one during WW2 so I believe they've made it personal.:)
