I am in a psyc class and i find hypnosis really amazing and I want to learn it and do stage Hypnosis for some exta money, How would I go about doing that? Also would I need to obtain anything from the local or state level before I can hypnotise other people I will be in IOWA, NEBRASKA, SOUTH DAKOTA more then likely..

The New Encyclopedia of Stage Hypnotism by Ormond McGill and DEEPER AND DEEPER by Jon Chase
are good reference books

Stage hypnosis is about self-employment and performing on stage, so i'd check the local colleges on running a business and take some acting classes.

As for the laws, they vary state to state.

The laws governing the practice of hypnotherapy/hypnotism vary widely. You may end up in a state that doesn't allow you to do what you really want to do.
