Hi, my name is Kathy Moore. I am a new ABH member this year. I am looking for any citations regarding study skills research using hypnosis. I have a research intern, Darrien Grays, who is working on an Independent Study project with me. We will be doing study skills hypnosis and mearusing the learning improvement in an 8th grade math class.

If you have any references like the one that was in the March 2004 Journal of Hypnotism (NGH), we would love to hear from you. Contact me at hypnotist@mooreinspire.com or darrien at demod@satx.rr.com thanks for your feedback. :)

Kathy, your post is unclear, but I hope it doesn't mean that you will be using hypnosis on grade eight students, because if it does you are likely to be in trouble........ I have been researching using hypnosis as a tool for thirty six years now, but at no time would I ever use my skills on a child for such purposes. In an emergency I will use hypnosis on a child in the presence of a parent, and with their express permission, but not for research, only for the benifit of the child....If you hope for feedback, please be clearer regarding what it is that you wish to do.....Terry....
