Hi I know most of the basics of hypnosis and NLP now but i have one major problem, I can't stop thinking about it, i'm always running through pottential scripts in my head, always observing people and matching them, and this is all great, but I have one problem, every now and then i go into 'trance' this has happened at work when discussing NLP with colleagues and on two or three other occasions, I know it's a simple matter of telling myself I will not go into trance and anchoring my 'awake state' but it still happens... i think my intrest in hypnotism and nlp stems from the relative ease that i go into 'trance' any advice?

Everyone goes into trance all day long.
It's one trance after another.
Can you be more specific about what you do and what you'd rather do?

what i do and what i'd rather do? well that could mean quite a lot, but i think i know what you mean! well what i do is maybe i'll be thinking of what material i read the night before and doing my job (picking out 1000's of g'damn pansies) and i feel myself snap out of it 5 minutes down the line... think thats what you mean, i think a lot of it is to do with numbers (first time i was put into trance was done by a confusion induction in which i was repeatedly told to look at the (digital) clock and read what it says upside down (like boobless on calculators) and since then i see 11:11pm and times like that all the time and i can feel my 'state' alter.... so for 'what i'd rather do?' well i'd like to get rid of this number thing i have now. and i'd like to set up a mechanism so that i only go into trance after a certain comand or anchor that i trigger....well maybe something like that
