I am very interested in dogs zoopsychology and training.
I have heared from some sourses than hypnosis work not only with humans but with animals also. But my I haven't find any usefull information about animal hypnosis...
Can anybody help me with links, materials and so on related to animal hypnosis (expetialy to dogs hypnosis)?
I'd like to discuss such topics as well - on forum or over e-mail.

Guest,

You may want to use the search function here to view the thread
"Can you hypnotize a dog??" I'd also suggest that you register
here; it'll give you and others the ability to communicate via
private messages. Some may avoid contacting you, otherwise,
because of reluctance to divulge E-Mail addresses.

Guest,

There also was a thread that included some discussion of "hypnotizing
chickens," perhaps someone will recall the title of the thread and know
whether it is still accessible.

Guest, what you heard is not what you seem to believe. If I told you there was no such thing as Hypnosis, would by believe me? Fact is there is no such thing as hypnosis, except that we choose to call an art by that name......It is called "a misnomer".....
Likewise, "animal hypnosis" is called that because it mimicks what we understand as "hypnosis", but in fact has no connection whatsoever.....
NOW, if what you are asking is about how to communicate with animals, that is a different subject, and yes it can be done, and yes hypnosis can help, but not by using it on the animal, by using it on yourself.....
Hypnosis required the ability to think, and to use imagination, something we rarely find in animals, hence that statement that animals can't be hypnotised. Terry
