I am not overweight in fact I am considered by most to be way to skinny. My problem is I can't get enough sweet rolls, cookies , deserts etc. A local Hypnotherapy Expert says his success ratio for my problem is 85-90* in 1-3 sessions at $90 per sessions. Can anyone tell me if this is realistic and/or achievable? Thank you very much

Guest,
I'll preface the replies that others will provide you, with the recommendation
that you first consult your medical doctor to ensure that your being
"way to skinny" and eating patterns aren't a symptom of any medical
problems. A physician is the only professional that can check for and treat
things such as a hyperactive thyroid.

The 85-90* was meant to be 85-90% success ratio. Again thanks in advance to anyone who can assist me with my constant daily sugar binges.
Hello Guest,
If you want to stop bingeing then hypnotherapy will help you to do so. If you don't want to then nothing will help you, including stomach stapling.
Overeating and bingeing are sometimes quite intransigent problems even for the power of hypnotherapy and 85-90% is a very good success rate if it is provable. SG makes a good point about the thyroid gland, get this checked out first.
You have to decide if you really want to stop. Then you will. But perhaps with a little help.
A question. If you are not overweight why do you want to stop?

Dear guest,
The first thing to do here, is to get a check up from your doctor. This isnt just excellent CYA, it is also excellent advice, because you might be looking for a psychological solution to a physiological issue, and we would want to be sure to check for diabetes.
Second is to realize what sugar, fructose. glucose, sucrose, all the other ose's, and carbohydrates (which turn into sugar) do to your system.
Sugar hits your system, and causes an insulin response to deal with it. The insulin is produced, the sugar metabolized, and then gradually as your system notices the drop in sugar levels, the insulin production is shut down.
Unfortunately, this shut down is after the sugar level has dropped, so now there is an excess of insulin, which produces, (guess what?), a craving for sugar, and so you have another sugar bump, which produces another insulin bump, which ...
Well you get the picture.
If you were to read the Atkins, Susanne Sommers, or South Beach diet literature you would get a more accurate and scientific description of the above.
Just suffice to say, sugar produces a physiological loop, that seems like an addiction. looks like one, feels like it, acts like it too. It isnt a psychological issue.
If you were to follow the South Beach Diet just long enough to get off the sugar/insulin loop, then take up their long term mantainance diet, which reintroduces carbohydrates, in a more balanced way, you could have this thing solved in less than 3 weeks, just for the price of the book. And you would be eating much healthier as a happy by product.
