Im the guy that posted about Frank Pucelick and I was wondering what your thoughts are concerning my question in the title. I was intraduced to NLP when I was 15 yrs old by Frank and his staff. Back then NLP wasnt as widely known as it is today. Today you just have to type NLP in google and there it is.
I have seen NLP work and have watched behaviors change in many people. Its kind of scary to me, because I have seen the results first hand. I was apart of something back then that will never be again. Its hard to explain. At one time there was a large number of us that where being trained in NLP. The Trainer was like a god to us. He didnt believe in God and Im certain that he doesnt today. Im not wanting to get into the God debate! I am just giving information.
Have you ever wondered why people like Hitler, Jones, Manson, and Koresh
are able to influence other people the way they did? I think that they all have something in common and thats their ability to communicate with others. They all had some kind of power, "for lack of a better word" over their followers. To be able to manipulate ones emotions is a powerful tool and it can be used for helping people and for selfish reasons.
What bothers me most about all this is my experience and all that I witnessed. Its hard to put into words and most people dont understand unless you where there. Im certain that you practicing NLPrs can get tune in to what im saying. Thats if your primary rep is auditory, Or see what Im saying if its visual. Oh yeah, predicate prefrences. Its all coming back!
Well, Im tired of writing... I just like this forum stuff.
Ill check in to see if theres any responses:-)

How did NLP get so big?

Human beings like to look for answers.

It is as if a person is driving through a tunnel and keeps turning on the headlights, without realising that they are still wearing sunglasses.
