Start by finding out what is already available.

My guess, from your nick, is that you're in London. The laws in the UK are different than here in the U.S. But of course you have to get all the permits, licenses, etc. Then you have to get the space and advertise and get publicity.

There is so much stuff that I would suggest finding out if there is a local school or agency that has information or gives classes. Here in the U.S. we have community colleges that give inexpensive classes, free universities that give quick and inexpensive classes, and even the local city Chamber of Commerce usually has information and even mentoring plans.

The one thing I would suggest: here in the U.S., most businesses fail within two years of starting up, often because of undercapitalization. Therefore, assuming the situation is similar in the U.K., I would suggest that you have some other way of supporting yourself and the business for several months or longer until you get enough customers to support both you and the business.

Even after the business gets going, you'll still need to advertise and get publicity.

Good luck!

A long time ago we had a lady in London that had a Time Line work group that met once or twice a week. I believe the meetings were in a hotel. It was suggested that she take out a small advertisement in a newspaper for the practice sessions.

You could also e the training you had and inquire if they had other people from the London area. We have a member, Keith Livingston, that does have wonderful products to help hone your skills.

Wishing you the best, Pood
