Would it be possible to age regress someone and begin to teach them a language, as if they were actually learning it from an earlier age, say three or four years old. If you then age progressed them teaching them more and more would they retain the information taught and havea full knowledge of the language?

Why would you go to all that trouble?

I believe he is thinking that this would be more beneficial than just learning a second language because children have such an incredible capacity for language.

It would be my opinion that this would not be possible, or make a difference, seeing as how the brain physically changes with the childs age. Though I would say that learning a second language might very well be a lot easier with the help of hypnosis sans age regression.

There'd not be much benefit.
None for learning, a small amount in confidence.

Yes, many people continue speaking in several languages in the same conversation without hypnosis. When encouraged in a welcoming warm friendly environment, learning this skill is just fun !

We have had this question before in the old forum. My own take would be no, simply because childhood is a time of rapid and random learning and although others might disagree I would say that it cannot be replicated because the learning process at that age is the result of brain development unique to chronological age. So, although clients can be regressed to any age they are being regressed as an adult with a developed adult brain to a memory of childhood rather than the actual thing.

Anyone know of any research?
