My goal as a hypnotherapist is to help empower people.

The tools they sell may work, I don't know. But when you tell people all they need is a DVD player and a remote control, then it is clear that they are making people dependant on their products rather than self-empowered.

not me.
But relaxation is easy. I do it every night. So much so that I fall unconscious (sleep)
I don't even need a DVD :)

Indeed it does. Nice clean website :)

heh, heh, heh :) <Johnny chuckles>

Btw Merlin, still owe you a reply on another thread, which I haven't forgotten about... x

And, Don, you are probably right.... the whole idea looks geared toward product dependency, though it looks to me like quite a cool product... meditative entertainment... went briefly through the free go it offers and you can make selections catering an experience based upon what you want it to do for you...

anyway, I hear you man..... its a bit of a wash out compared to the real thing... autonomy... fair enough

well most meditainment meds do offer the listener a means to recall 'the feelings of relaxation' again in everyday life by way of a 'token'...

hmmm product-dependency doesn't seem to be what it's about. More like 'approachability'... it's meditation for the masses maybe...?

Nothing wrong with the product, so long as you understand that it is just a DVD. I used to make such tapes for my clients at one time, before we had DVDs of course. It is just fine for someone who has a problem relaxing, but it makes much more sense to find the cause and rid yourself of it for good don't you think? On the other hand, you already have equipment in your home that will give you such results, it is called, Television, Radio, or even the Gramaphone if you still have one of those wonderful items, a turntable (G).....
