Hi everyone
was wondering if anybody has any scripts available for dealing with this particular problem if so would be very grateful.

Hello, w2harris.
The problem with such scripts, of course, is that what causes impotence in one person may have no bearing on the cause in another.
If you have discovered the cause through a pre-induction interview or during the session, that could give a suggestion as to the ideal type of script.
Also, does the prospective client respond better to paternal, authoritarian suggestions or non-authoritation suggestions and metaphor?

Impotence can be a sign of medical problems including adverse reactions
to medication, circulatory insufficiency, endocrine problems, etc. I'd hope
that anyone with impotence considering the use of scripts would first have
a complete medical evaluation by his physician.

I agree with what Simple G said, find out more first.
If you havent refered him to a Physician already do so asap. Allowing him to always contact you afterwards. This in turn will do wonders for your credibility as a therapist.
Referals are never a bad thing. But too many therapists see it as a imediate financial loss, not thinking about the rewards that can return in the long term. :)
May I also suggest to you that if he already has been to a physician and you are the next step. A complete script is not the answer. As mentioned before, found out where the problem stems from. Then perhaps look for 'suggestions' to incorporate accordingly (incorporate into a confidence boosting script..).
Compliments of the season.
