View Full Version : In what venue does one learn to model?

Aside from the rather obvious benefits of being able to gain control over your life, one thing that just struck me as very powerful about NLP is modelling successful people.

I'm fortunate in knowing several quite successful musicians. As a musician, and not quite successful, it would be a great boon for me to learn what they do and then do it myself.

Of course it would be common sense to just corner them and say "golly, why are you so successful?" - but I have a feeling that modelling as used in NLP is a bit more refined than this...

Is this something taught in Practitioner Training? Any books that refer to it?

Thank you.

Hi Brian

Yes you are right modelling people of excellence is a fantastic skill to have. As far as I can remember off the top if my head, modelling is something you are taught at Master Practitioner level - but we may have covered it at prac level :-)

magicGirl is right, its the master prac that we teach Modeling although we do introduce it in practioner training.

You can also buy books purely on modeling.

Your best bet would be a modelling traing such as the ones taught by Wyatt Woodsmall
