Anybody experience with that technique?
I'm just going through Tad's Huna cassetes series and I'm wondering about the following:
The process as guided by Tad is rather quick, not much time to think of too many poeple (e.g. friends and cousins). As I do in fact have many friends and relatives that should be invited, that cannot be done consciously within that time. So is it appropriate, perhaps even purpos to let it simply go unconsciously? That's the only way I can imagine to achieve with it. But I'm wondering if that's really the way it is supposed.

Hi Elma,
I have not heart the tapes from Tad, but went through the process once. To me it doesn't bother how much or little time I get to invite people on the stage. I trust that my subconscious brings forward those that are most "urgent". And if you think more and more people must be processed, there's always the possibility of going through the process once again.
Happy ho'oponopoing,
Bas.

Why don't you just think of it as a NLP technique and in this case the Higher Self would be the subconscious mind instead of the Huna Higher Self, and utilizing Reiki energy to the crown chakra? Still works!

Hi Elmar,
You could pause the tape and allow yourself more time to bring people onto your stage, and start it again when you are ready. Also, asking your UCM to bring everyone (including yourself--which I like to do) for the process of forgiveness and letting go of any negative emotions is a wonderful process.:)

You are exactly right Elmar, it works best when your conscious mind gets out of the way!
Your unconscious mind is pretty much infinite so it can easily and effortlessly bring EVERYONE you have ever met in your whole life onto the stage and run the whole process in the blink of an eye, ie, outside your conscious mind's awareness. Sometimes this seems like everything happens in a blur, and that is good, it shows things are working.
The key thing is to trust you're unconscious mind to easily and effortlessly run the process. It has done it before in past lives otherwise you wouldn't be interested in using the technique.
The Hawaiians recommend running this process every day, and after the first run through, it generally takes a lot less time. I've been using it for over 5 years and it works really well.
So let go, enjoy the journey, and if your intuition tells you there's more to clear, just run the tapes through again.

Hi Elmar,
When doing ho'oponopono, I do it quickly most of the time; however there are times when I choose to go slowly in order to actively experience every step in the process. I find myself going slowly when I'm integrating a new awareness. Once I am done with ho'oponopono, I know that all is well.
After listening to the guided meditation a few times, its easy to memorize the steps and then you just do it at whatever speed suits you that day. If you do it frequently it becomes natural to go fast. I guess its rather like a flower bed... once you have thoroughly weeded it, there are only a few new weeds to pull each day.

Sorry, but this isn't really ho'oponopono. For true Ho'oponopono it needs to be done by someone else.
"Although the word “hoʻoponopono” was not used, early Hawaiian historians documented a belief that illness was caused by breaking kapu, or spiritual laws, and that the illness could not be cured until the sufferer atoned for this transgression, often with the assistance of a praying priest (kahuna pule) or healing priest (kahuna lapaʻau). Forgiveness was sought from the gods (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kahuna) or from the person with whom there was a dispute."
