hey whats going on, im new here!
just wondering does anyone have any certain techniques on self hypnosis, and once you have self hypnotised yourself, can you snap yourself back out of it?

It reads as if you may be untrained in the art and skill of hypnosis. If that indeed is the case, you would have to go to a professional hypnotist to "give" you self-hypnosis. It's not quite as easy as it seems; however, when professionally done, you do have a wonderous gift.

Please feel free to read the many pages on this Forum and you just may find lots and lots of information from Certified Hypnotists/therapists all over the world. Enjoy yourself and learn all you can. :)

thanks champ! yer im actually thinking of getting into it as a career, im 19 and ive been interested in how the mind works.
i dont know if anyone has heard of him, but ive seen peter powers (his a stage hypnosis) a couple of times, and went to film for his 2nd tv series. its just amazing what is done, by the snap of a finger he can put u too sleep ( in the altered concious state ) ive been reading around to try and self hypnotise myself but havnt had much luck!
i also want to try it on my friends once ive been educated to do it, use them as lab rats! hahaha

I see you are in Australia. I know there are some very good teachers in that country. It is a wonderful career, whether you want to help people or be a stage hypnotist and some people manage BOTH! Way cool, huh? Go and start learning now and as Don here says: PERFECT PRACTICE!

Sorry about the self-hypnosis part but that's just the way it is. The trance state is just wonderful and it could be why people here call me a trancepuppy - any old excuse will do!

Good luck to you and thank you for coming to a place where you will get truthful answers from those of us that do. :)
