I know we all masterbate, c'mon admit it, lol. Wouldn't it be cool to believe a sexy looking woman is doing it.

Can hypnosis do...

1) Can I think of beautiful sexy model girl and she will appear in my reality? I can then use all my 5 senses to have sex with her? :D

2) How about doing it in my mind without my body physically moving and I can use my 5 senses, just like a lucid dream state?

Has anyone tried number one or something that they have thought and it appeared? It sounds kind of scary to think of something and it will appear as an hallucination?

So you can engage with hallucinations at a kinesthetic as well as a visual and auditory sensory level (this is the idea of 1) I take it) - that's a pretty interesting idea man.... nice post... and indeed sounds it could be scary depends on how much control you knew you had over it I suppose.... Not sure if the first is possible... (although may be a regular occurence for persons with schizophrenia).... maybe the second is though, or at least can't imagine why not if conditions were right enough.... the potential for creativity if the first were possible would be immense.... (I am imagining)

Yes, it is an interesting idea. However, I think it approaches a question which is far more interesting--the nature of hypnotherapy itself.

If somebody comes to you asking for help in building self-confidence so he can commit a murder, should you provide that help? I would say no. It is not for the benefit of the prospective client (or the victim!).

So here the "meta-question" (to coin a neologism) is "can I use hypnosis to create the hallucination of a woman and have sex with her rather than use hypnosis to create the self-confidence needed to meet women, establish relationships, and eventually have sex with a real woman?"

Of course, people fantasize while masturbating and, while dreaming, a sexual partner can seem very real. But here the question concerns creation of a vivd hallucination.

I think many hypnotherapists would consider it a possibility, but is it advisable? For a client who is a paraplegic, has multiple amputation, etc., and incapable of finding a partner, I think this would be a positive option and could help the well-being of the client. IMO humans are sexual beings by nature and all should have the right to experience sexuality.

But in the situation of a person who just wants a masturbatory fantasy due to insecurity over trying to find a partner, I would contend that it would be harmful to the ecology of the potential client. It would be far more beneficial to help the person with developing a positive self-image and more self-confidence so they can go out and socialize. Humans, IMO, are sexual and social beings. Giving a person a way to avoid what is in their nature is not positive.

This goes to the question, "just because we can, does that mean we should?" Using NLP techniques, it should be possible to take advantage of others. But because you can, does that mean you should? I would contend that you should not and that doing so eventually harms the core of your being (call it "soul" or whatever you like).

As a hypnotherapist, I do want to help the client achieve desired behavior changes, but not if in my estimation the change is harmful to the client.

People can look over the archives here and see that we have been asked repeatedly if there is some what to forget something that happened to them. The answer has always been that although it is possible, it is better to remove the emotional charge from the experience rather than forget it completely. This is an instance of someone asking for something because they don't understand the workings of the human mind and body. We present an alternative which is better for the person. I would contend that if presented with a questions such as this we should look to the ecological benefit of the person and provide options that will enhance the health and spirit rather than simply give 'em what they want.

We often are confronted with a presenting problem that does not match the real problem. Perhaps the request for the creation of such a hallucination is also just the presenting problem.

Absolutely yes.

In fact you do it now, daydreams, and night dreams.

And with practice and or help you can do it at will.

But why limit yourself to just sexual fantasies?

You can vividly fantasize anything.

Some people, take NicolaTelsa, he fantasized a universe that had something that hadnt yet been invented, went to engineering school there to learn how they did it, and 'came back' and duplicated it, and it worked.

The only question is, if you were that good, at fantasy, what would you spend your time fantasizing about, and what would be the cost, if any, for you, and those who you care about?

Seems to me, that with casual sex as availiable as it is, with the added attraction of having someone else for unpredictability, spending your time fantasizing about it, in the way you ask about, would be like driving a race car to the market, to pick up white bread.

Q1 yes
Q2 yes
Q3 yes

>It sounds kind of scary to think of something and it will appear as an hallucination?

The person decided the fantasy was better than reality.
She (in the case I know of) stayed in her fantasy and never returned.
What a way to go??
