I ran across a chatroom recently where "hypnotists" and wannabe hypnotists hang out. Many say that they can trance someone over the net by having them read text messages.

I did at one point allow a person to try it on me. I started feeling strange..like I couldn't move my limbs, a pit in my stomach...almost like an out of body experience. I started feeling extremely strange and discontinued the "session". I've tried a couple of times to be hypnotised at those stage shows, but it never worked on me.

Thoughts?

Oh, one last question - I'm returning to college this fall. Is it possible to have a suggestion placed that will enhance my recall ability in order to help me perform better on tests?

Thank you!

I dont think that you could be hypnotised by reading sometging the person would have to do a lot of typing. I know a perfect place where loads of hypnotist's hang out... right here!!! And hypnosis could improve your test results.

Hi Amber,
Hypnosis by text works fine if the hypnotist knows what (s)he's doing.
But it is a skill not everyone has.
The hypnotist has to work without the feedback clues they've grown used to.

>Is it possible...

yes.

You bet it is - well for me anyway. I "drop off" every time I read TRANCEFORMATIONS :)
