I don't know what your policy is here on recommending/warning against various hypnotherapists. I've bumped into the Banyan hypnosis center, and was thinking about going there for various things - smoking cessation being top priority.

They're located in St. Paul, Minnesota, and the only reason I'm asking here is that from their website, it seems they're pretty well connected.

The only thing is, sessions are expensive, and their website looks a little used-car-salesman. So I thought since I read useful things here that I'd ask if anyone had an opinion. Thanks for any tips.

Banyon hypnosis center was started by Cal Banyon.
He invisioned a larger operation of several staff and jumped into the biz with both feet. Cal has been trained by Gerald Kein and later by Stephen Parkhill (Answer Cancer). Cal has also authored a book recently (Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy) Cal is a skilled hypnotist but I have no idea about his staff. I would not personally hesitate. Cal is one of the few I would be willing to go to see
