Sorry ive been away but why was annie banned, from the post's I have seen she was a valuble asset to this forum.

Banning someone is a last resort option.
Lists, like this one, thrive on peoples ability to express themselves freely, and openly. Lists, like this one, benifit from the free flow of ideas, and this frequently can mean controversy, and contention. These are welcome, until they become merely personal attacks, as opposed to the discussion of ideas. Many people do not feel free to express themselves, if they are belittled and attacked personaly because they expressed their ideas.
The standard on this list, is to disagree all you like, but limit that disagreement to challenging ideas, and refraining from personal invective.
Annie was banned because she repeatedly refused to modify her 'on list' behavior to conform with the forum's posting standards.
After repeated warnings, and only after all three 'moderators' agreed, she was banned.
It is not expected that you would be able to read some of the things Annie posted that lead to her being banned, they were deleated because of the personal attacks in them. Because only the benificial posts Annie made 'survive', I agree, it leaves a somewhat distorted impression.
Perhaps that is for the best.
