Ok recently I had a big plot twist in one of my favorite tv shows spoiled by an inconsiderate person who failed to used spoiler warnings in her message. I'd like to forget what I read if that is at all possible. The reason I think this is possible is because my friend said(he suggested I watch the episode under the influence of some hard alcohol and I would have no idea what I read lol) something about the brain remembering things in certain ways, like associating visual images with memory. If he is right, could it be possible for a hypnotist to make me forget what I read since my mind has no visual proof that this event actually happened? How long would I forget for, what if for some reason I see something regarding the event(like a character it will affect) will that trigger it back? Is it hard to forget it or can he just kinda like hide it? Also, would he\she have trouble hypnotising someone who was really smart(but willing of course) or will that be a problem? For some reason I think that if I did indeed forget my self-destructive mind would remember it at the tip of a hat :/
Thanks
