Hey Guys,
Kinda confuse...
Did Embedded Commands existed from NLP or Ericksonian Hypnosis? Getting sort of mixed up here... how about the Double Binds technique...

Exactly how much do YOU know about Ericksonian hypnosis? Studied it? Practice it? What books have you specifically read on the subject?
Where and how did NLP come about?

You also picked the wrong sig it would seem, since you have been unable to indirectly persuade anyone to divulge anything, and nobody is prepared to "cut to the chase for you". Join the library and read some books, or stop asking, because doing so discloses your lazy bone......Nuf said!

Well sure, in Frogs into prices Bandler and Grinder stated that Virginia Satir used em, and Milton too :)
I guess that most of great therapists are using them without even knowing it!

Embedded Commands came from the first set of communications where UHUG emphasied a word or phrase consistantly, Ugh, ugh, ugh, "Ugh", ugh, ugh! After he repeated it two or three times unconssiouxly MHUG realized that everytime UHUG emphasised "Ugh" he was saying something other than just ugh. But then again he may of just meant ugh or ugh.
I like the fun of explaining embedded commands inside a double bind. They are normal converstaion components. So people (hypnotist) just use them on purpose, if you get my point... to yourself and go inside down to where real learning takes place easily, quickly and confusion clears naturally, or not.

Embedded commands have existed since the first language appeared, it is just that we figured out how to use them in the therapeutic context during the last couple of decades.
