Greetings,
I have read a post in regards to hallucinations - the boy asked about one's own personal, imaginary hypnotist. What I pose is somewhat similar - and perhaps in a nod towards 'A Beautiful Mind' - The creation of characters, wholly visable, audible, and individual, yet merely characters. With our advanced methods of hypnotherapy and all that stems from it, would such an endeavour be possible? And, if so, how would one go about it?
I have read a post in which a Merlin describes the Esdaile state. I am interested in 'programming' my mind with hypnosis, installing knowledge far easier and faster than conventional learning. Would the Esdaile state be suited for this purpose, and if so, how can one induce it?
My last question lies in regards to the changing of the body through the subconscious. A post exists speaking of such feats, of changing eye colour, strength of fingernails, etc. What I ask you is how can these be accomplished, and where may I find more information on this subject?
I thank you for your time, and your trouble.
-Michael
