Hey Merlin (or anyone else who will give a credible answer), I have been reading a bit about somnambulism and in a couple of different places it has been described as being associated (on a physical level) with brain states known as 'alpha', and elsewhere I read that it was associated with the 'delta' brain state... I'm wondering what state, in your opinion, the brain is in (phsyiological-arousal-wise) when someone is somnabulistic? would simply inducing that brain state be enough to acheive the required level of suggestibility? and finally is it possible to bring yourself to somnabulisim and then make suggestions consciously once the level of consciousness alteration is acheived - or is this out of the question - being only possible to benefit from the suggestibility you will have attained in this state with the help of someone or something other (have in mind here a prerecorded tape or something)?
