Now, this is a bit tricky for me to describe but I'll give it a whirl...

When using Specific Language, content level vs process level, can/and does the unconscious have references that are not accurate to the intent.

Meaning, instead of giving a visualization or an events for increasing immune response you give "Bring WBC up!" Do you get an inappropriate(relative to intent) response?

I suspect, Yes.

Is that because the word "WBC" to the unconscious means "WBC you learned about in school, the pictures, and all the external learnings" not the actual internal cell.

If so, then is there a method accepted by the hypnosis community to train/teach unconscious association to intended outcome? So, "WBC" means to the unconscious the internal and actual WBC.

I know there are ways to get around this, but I'm curious.

Hi Stoic,

It's difficult at times because even though we have only one mind, it doesn't always associate our words/labels with substances.
What's a WBC?
If I presented you with 10 substances, as globs of something, could you point it out? or would you need to analyse each?

Our minds need to be taught, when we say WBC we mean this or that substance or whatever.

The mind knows all 100,000+ substances, but doesn't know our labels for each.

Exactly!
I'm glad I'm on the right track. Now, Is there any method that is accepted by the hypnosis community to teach the mind the labels?
I'm not looking for a how-to explaination, either a name, or a yes/no will do.
Thanks Merlin

There is a clumsy method I use.
As for the hypnocommunity, I don't know of one.
