Hi everyone this is my first time here!

let me get this straight, is time line therapy used for hypnotizing you to explore your mind and are you able to go to your past and re-live it like reality?

Nope. Not even close.
The function of TLT is to free your emotions (that unconsciously cause unwanted current behaviors) from unknown causes in your past.

I'm wondering if we all got a PM from this person and if so I wonder what poster thinks the gain will be.

Hi

TLT is used to 'clean-up' past negative emotions and limiting beliefs/decisions. It is a hypnotic process, though there is no 'formal' hypnotic induction as a pure hypnotherapist would use.

Sometimes, during TLT you may have some experience of re-living the event, since the 'script' takes you in to the event to notice the emotion present within it. This said, you will then be taken out of the event to experience the emotion disappear, by going to the moment before the event and hence before the emotion existed.

So ... TLT is not usually used as a way to re-live past events, usually because the objective is to remove negative 'stuff' from the past event and avoid the discomfort of graphically re-living it.

I hope this helps.
