Hypnotherapy and Sex addictions.

I have been addicted to pornography for the last 10 years I have been to counseling, my religious leaders, and read numerous books on self control. Recently I heard an ad for hypnotherapy to stop smoking and thought that if hypnotherapy could help for this type of addiction it could help with mine. Does anyone have any info on this subject?

can you tell me how it is a problem for you? I know that Porn is often a problem for others... but that will never result in you getting any successful help.
my point being. Only when something is an obstacle for you and you want to stop because it is interefering with your life can you make the changes with hypnosis etc.

So what exactly is the problem?

Since you say you have made various attempts to eradicate this, I will accept that you find it a problem, something Kim is questioning.
Your comments on working with your religious leadership, suggests to me that you are now out in the open with regard to the problem, and are willing to try anything in order to get the results you want. Do your religious beliefs actually allow for hypnosis? If so, it is indeed the best possible tool for your purpose.....
