I live in the Houston area and was wondering if anyone can refer me to an experienced practitioner of hypnotism and/or NLP. If not that, then a list of those in the area and what I should do to interview them to ensure the person I find it qualified and able.

Thanks

Houston Vetter, you can find him thru http://www.secretsuccess.com/

This is a personal recommendation and does not necesarily reflect the thinking of hypnosis.com.

Thanks for the reccomendation.

Though in looking at his site, I'm unsure of exactly what he offers. Is it only his "kit" that seem to be audio tapes, or does he do 1 on 1 personal sessions? I see he has named his own techniques, but how do they relate to hypnosis and/or NLP? Please don't think I'm being ungrateful or confrontational, I'm just trying to get a better idea of what he offers and practices.

It may help if I were clear on exactly what I want to achieve through this therapy and if it's even possible. I'm kinda short on time, so I'm going to brief here.

I guess most of my problems could be summed up in one word. LAZY. I find myself presented with oppourtunities everyday. I'll capitalize on the very easy, but usually not stick with the ones that require effort. I have been able to succesfully motivate myself to stick with some sort of regimin for a short time, but never as long as I should. It's like I know what I should be doing, but somehow just don't do it. Even now, it's nearly 11 AM here, and I haven't even begun to get ready for work. My job is in outside sales so it isn't structured. I've managed mediocre success in spite of my bad habits, and I'm at my end in trying to figure out and fix whatever seems to be the matter with me. It defies logic.

Is hypnosis or NLP something that can help me? I appreciate any advice I can get. Even if you want to tell me to get off my ass. :)

Hypnosis is simply a technology. Hypnotherapy (what goes on after trance is induced) can absolutely help you. So can NLP. Either could help you quickly, effectively, and compared to other systems, very inexpensively.

For a referral in your area, you can send an email to:
aih@ix.netcom.com
Be sure to put "Hypnotherapist Referral Wanted" in your subject line. Include the area you are in.

Alternatively, you could go to
https://www.ngh.net/referral.htm
and fill out the form.

Good luck, and tell us how it goes!

I offered the website as a way to contact him.

Get in touch with him and tell him what you are attempting to accomplish, then decide if he is goingto be helpful for you or not.
