Hey All,
I was wondering if anyone could describe the correct methods to breath in order to promote health and relaxation. I know that this may have nothing to do with hypnosis but those whole meditate swear by it. Any and all examples would be appreciated.

Well apparently there is a substance in our blood stream (can't remember what its called atm) which takes the waste stuff away from our cells. There is actually more of it than there is blood. The only way to stimulate the movement of this substance is deep breathing. Now I'm quoting this from memory so the numbers might be out slightly but what you are supposed to do is:

1. Breath in till you fill your lungs (counting while you breathe)
2. Hold your breath for about four times the time it took to inhale
3. Breathe out to a count twice that of your inhale

Repeat ten times

For example

1. breath in to count of 8
2. hold for 32 seconds
3. out for

Right, meditation is not hypnosis.

And if at any time from your birth forward, you were dis-abled from *breathing in a healthy, relaxed fashion* - your sub-conscious mind can be taught how with hypnosis.
