"Hi,

feeling in top pleasure seems to be what you are looking for? Why change your bio chemistry if you can have it in a snap? You can have that right away using your internal heroine (called endorphines). Have a look at NLP. There are quick techniques that allow you to get into any state you want to. And you don't need months of practice.

Have fun"

Was one of the replies to my previous question about entering into a state like after the use of a drug, and since he mentioned NLP but I always thought hypnosis had much more to offer, I'd like to ask the differences between the two? And would you agree with him that NLP is easier to learn (probably because their is less to learn?)?

In my opinion, you would get some results faster with NLP. But IMO there are limits. It really depends on what you want. Learning to anchor states is easy to gain from an NLP book. Eliciting the states to anchor is not so easy to learn from a book.

I agree with you Merlin, there are limitations and it is one thing to anchor and it is another thing to learn how to elicit strategies.

And I also agree that it is hard to compare two generalizations - what is hypnosis and what is NLP anyway-.
