Did anyone happen to see this besides me? It was on regular Fox TV in the USA last night. Teen is having 'flashbacks' of past life which were interferring greatly with this life. "Mom" had apparently assisted her son in meeting with the psychiatrist, psychic type community and finally lands on a female 'investigator' who questions her as to what she had tried previously and, of course, hypnosis was mentioned as not working. I'm left really wondering who exactly knows about how memories are stored, how to communicate with the inner mind and how to solve that type of problem? WE ARE. THAT'S WHO!!
The lady investigator continually spent her time with the teen and had him describe exactly what he was seeing, hearing, feeling, etc. She then sent another person off to find exactly what that teenager had seen.
When is 'Holly-weird' gonna tell the truth about hypnotherapy.
My 'state' was changed~Pood :(
Pood, the show is fiction, and fiction almost always misrepresents hypnosis to use as plot points. The producer says that the inspiration for the show was a book called The Reincarnationist, a novel. However, he "got hooked" on the subject after watching Dr. Brian Weiss on Oprah. Weiss uses meditation and visualization, but if you read through the lines his techniques are basically hypnosis.
However, even if they say it doesn't work, that's going to get people thinking, "They mean it doesn't work for them. It will work for me." I would respectfully advise hypnotherapists to start working on their regression chops.
In may I'm giving some workshops in Tennessee and will also be doing private regression sessions.

I'm not doing past life regressions as "entertainment" like some hypnotists in my area, but it sometimes comes up as part of a timeline reimprinting process. It's always fascinating!
Lady yesterday went back to a time as a 13 year old boy who was drowning, and being dragged through a lake by his father. We healed that incident which had everything to do with her life today and the unpleasant emotions and limiting beliefs which had been dogging her. Massively transformational! :)

that Weiss is going to be at Mishka again in June in Chicago. Also Chopra is listed as a keynote speaker. If Weiss isn't using hypnosis (by any other name) I sure don't know what he is doing.
I have NEVER seen him do PLR -- he got his fame for Future Life -- which is something I absolutely LOVE to do.
Fabulous Don that you are going to do 'very correct' workshops on PLR. It seems to be a subject matter that is often even misunderstood in 'our' world.
