anyone know much about daydreaming or spacing out?
if it's related to hypnosis
or what does it mean if someone does that frequently? (serious inquiry)!

That they daydream a lot.
I interpret 'spaced out' as being under the effects of drugs, im not sure if thats what you mean though...

Or that they have some really strong thoughts on their mind. Possibly problems.

Hmm...first of all, it's NATURAL space out, no drugs. It happens randomly, eg. on the bus, waiting or sitting in a room. Normally it's during commuting or waiting.
The reason I asked is because I heard that it can be a sign of escape from other thoughts or issues?
Or it's similar to hypnosis?

Or it's similar to hypnosis? It can also be an effective use of time to deal with problems while waiting for something else to happen. How would we know, since it is YOUR trance, and we don't know what is taking placed during this time do we? I sleep on problems so as to make the best use of sleep time, and see nothing wrong with doing with intent, what others do by accident...

Yup
>if it's related to hypnosis
In the same way an eye is related to a liver.
>or what does it mean if someone does that frequently?
Probably means they like it more than other aspects of their life.

For me, day dreaming has felt like some of my trances I've been in but then I LOVE to day dream. Day dreaming is not hypnosis but while in hypnosis one may feel as if s/he is day dreaming. This is usually if the hypnotist does not use suggested mental amnesia. Whatever is going on, your conscious mind is having a little rest and your subconscious can work on a few problems that the rest of the world takes care of with sleep. Win-win situation. Don't worry about it and enjoy. It's fun!

Really? When we daydream our conscious mind goes away and our subconscious mind works on the problems??? Wow that's interesting.
Hello Fairy,
Daydreaming is a form of trance. It is when the conscious is allowing the subconscious to construct an alternate reality.
