I see these rapid induction videos on youtube and they make it look so easy, is it that easy?
Also there's a guy on youtube, steve g jonesl (dunno if you've heard of him) but he says that only 20% of people are suggestible enough to go into trance via rapid induction first time. Is this statistic accurate?
Lastly if i wanted to do rapid inductions, what would be the steps to follow?
eg. would i have to do a pre-talk, then suggestibility tests to check their suggestibility etc. i think you get the gist

EVERYONE! Sooooo, after the person is in trance, then what are you gonna do?
How do you keep the person in trance?
How do you deepen the trance?
Also look for a post by master_debator which has a link to Cerbone on Fox News Channel. Would you be content just "playing" with people's minds and turning them into statue people? Tell me exactly how that would enhance your career and make you money?
btw, these are called "instant" inductions. A "rapid" induction would be an Elman type induction.

to deepen i would use the same techniques as a relaxation induction, (counting back, fractionation etc.)
what do you mean by "how would i keep them in a trance"?
it would make my sessions faster, i help friends and family to overcome stress etc. it isn't to make money, its purely to make the process faster

With an "instant", the person hypnotized does not necessarily stay in trance for very long at all. Using "conventional deepeners" do not work to my knowledge.
You are very correct in your belief that it would give you more time to do the changework needed.
People in general usually place a "value" on what is received. Free = zero value so there is zero reason to make the changework stay. A minimal value would equate to a minimal changework staying. Following me here??
Have you found your in-person training yet? Did you find the link to Cerbone on Fox News channel?
There is a young hypnotist, probably not more than perhaps 4 more years than you are, and this one had the drive and desire like you do. Went to in-person training(s) and now wants to be a stage hypnotist. Also know another who teaches and performs in Las Vegas and I doubt he is too much older than you are. Be patient because your time is coming soon and after you get your in-person training all of us here will be more helpful because ;) we would LOVE to have you join us in "our world".

thanks pood that's very welcoming, and i'd love to join your world as i think hypnosis is THe most interesting thing i've ever come across.
i havent found an in-person training as of yet but that is mainly because of travelling etc., i cant find any training sessions nearby and i cant drive so its is proving increasingly difficult. but i will pursue hypnosis further as i want to be a psychiatrist and use hypnosis, kinda like milton erickson,
i did find the link to cerbone on fox news, (assuming you mean the one where the guy is sat in the green chair and he does an instant induction)
what kind of deepeners would be used in an instant induction then?
