Without rapport and one hell of a pre-induction talk, you are going to be treading water unless you want to work out of the conventional methods of hypnosis, NLP or TLT

My thoughts.
You need enough rapport to have the client show up on time and pay their bill.

1. Empathy not sympathy.
2. Experience.
3. Honesty.
4. A good supply of pens.

Conciousness!

Take for example a Buddha. He/She will look right through you.

Read you like a book, and know exactly what to do/say, to slice right through your hazy world, shattering your heart open w. a beam of giggling all-powerful light.
