Hello everyone, my name is Dan. I've been studying hypnosis for a while now and I've taken quite a few video training lessons. Recently I've been working on creating scripts for myself. I'm far beyond worrying about inductions and I've gotten into the meat of sessions with myself and that is where I'm having some trouble.

I'm looking for different techniques on how to create change in myself with direct suggestions. I have been practicing with the ericksonian language patterns and made a few sessions with them. But it's my understanding that the deeper you go into hypnosis, the more direct you can be and the stronger results you'll have.

I was thinking about trying out my local library for books but I didn't know if they would have any. I live in a small town so I'm guessing it's not high on their priority list, lol. They barely have books about business. And I unfortunately I don’t have the money to go buy a bunch of books although I really want a copy of Dave Elman’s book.

Speaking of business, my goal is to ramp up my desire to pursue a business idea I have. I've been slacking a lot on taking the steps necessary to get the business moving along. I have used "toward" motivation in the past but I've heard that using some "away from" techniques might be a better idea to get myself going.

Any thoughts on these ideas?
