I taught myself to see auras at around age 12, maybe later.

The first time I saw my own it was blue, it later became purple, a few months ago it changed to an odd shade of blue and purple.

Lately I've felt some pretty strong emotions, subtle things sort of growing and changing inside of me, it has been pretty intense. I checked my aura a few days ago and it was an extremely bright, almost neon green.

Yesterday a friend who I had helped see auras, without telling her about this change, abruptly turned away and said "You are REALLY green right now". I really don't know what green represents, I understand the meaning of orange-yellow and blue-purple, but not so much green.

Could anyone provide any insights as to what this color...and possibly the intensity of it indicates? Also, is this rapid change in aura color natural? For the most part I've been a violet shade.

Green represents growth, healing, teaching and abundance. These are all positive states.

I have never seen an aura that is just one color. For instance, if it is red, there may be areas of red like a fluffy cloud with areas of a very light red and even turning into a peachy/yellow color. A good aura extends about double our height and far, far off to the sides. It takes a lot of work/practice to be able to see the complete aura of a person.

This makes me wonder what you have mixed in with your green.

Are you using a book? I have (had) one but have not seen it for a couple of years.

I remember one day someone saw mine and thought I was having an OBE and should not drive. It was not an OBE. It was a pain pill.

Enjoy your green~Pood :)

There is almost an outline of blue, a lighter shade, it sort of mixes in with the green so it's very subtle, but the green is far more dominant.

I've read a few books on chakras and auras, one on kundalini.

Light blue = one thing, dark blue = another and Turquoise = another still.

Auras can change by the minute or the day. They do not necessarily remain the same.

And if someone had a psychedelic rainbow aura, what would that mean? (I have friends and accointances that tell they can read auras and/or past lives and all them saw a rainbow and an aura going far beyond myself... don't know what this is supposed to mean tho)

Mo, perhaps you've heard of reading body language? The basic idea is that a person's position and movements reveal what they're really thinking. At least, that is the popular interpretation of this idea. The first book on the subject, containing the "inner secrets," is called Kinesics in Context by a guy named (really) Birdwhistle. The basic secret is that one motion, by itself, may not reveal the truth. You have to observe a person over time and know their history.

Let me give you an example. A website with information on body language says, "An ankle cross with legs tucked under the chair can indicate concealed anxiety. The concern may be more obvious if the person is leaning forward."

Well, it so happens that for ten years I took long trips driving a Volkswagen Minibus. I had a cruise control added to it, so to keep my feet out of the way of the pedals on those long trips, I'd cross them at the ankles and tuck them back under the edge of the chair. It became a habit. Now, many times I'll find myself in that position. When I consciously notice it, I uncross them. If someone says something interesting, I'll naturally lean forward. So here with my ankles crossed and legs tucked under the chair as I lean forward. However, this has nothing to do with "concealed anxiety" and "concern," it has to do with interest and habitual behavior.

Now, for some people it will certainly indicate concealed anxiety and concern, but it doesn't for me. A person watching me over time would learn this.

To be direct, while body language may indicate feelings, beliefs, emotions, ideas, etc., it is impossible to tell without taking the actions in context.

The same is true of the aura. Many people will talk about how someone has an aura that is blue or green or red. Frankly, I wouldn't trust them. People have rainbows of colors in the auras. The location of the color in relation to the bodies (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc.) gives some indication, but it also has to take into account the relationship of that color to the different body, its relation to nearby colors, whether the color is pure and intense or muddy, weak, blurry, pale, etc. Plus, as soon as you move or think of something or experience a memory or emotion, different parts of the aura will change colors. And of course, there are vortices in the aura where the major chakras swirl with their colors, influencing the colors around them.

After years of taking Kirlian photos, working with dicyanin dyes ("Kilner" screens or "aura goggles"), watching people take "aura photos" (or "auraistic photos") at psychic fairs, and talking to people who claim to see auras, only the most basic information can be gleaned for someone who asks, "My aura is green. What does that mean?"

Likewise, having a rainbow aura, is fairly meaningless to me. I can pretty well assure you that it indicates you're alive and probably breathing several times every minute. It might also indicate that you have lots of interests.

Or it might not.

At NLP Trainer's Training I was not getting feedback, I was getting direct criticism as I was taught that having arms folded hands to elbows across body meant closed off -- uninterested -- don't bug me. The guy said: Well, it may mean that to YOU but it doesn't mean that to the rest of the world. I wanted to smack him right down, right then and there. Hey bud, that's MY BELIEF. I ADOPTED IT AND I OWN IT!

Yes, Don does sit like that when interested. When Don sits like that one knows that one has Don's attention and there is usually a cute little Mac on his lap with his fingers flying. When he's totally slumped over, he's in trance and those fingers quit keyboarding. Somehow I highly suspect Don keyboards quite well in lighter states of trance. :D What does all this mean? Don is Don and and by being Don he is a very special and unique person.

And all this time I thought it was the line of drool coming out of Don's mouth that was a trance indicator! ;)

Stare at your own hand with your eyes squinted almost closed - no blink -- with practice you will be able to see all. It first starts out with little glimmers right next to skin

Have an old, old book. If I find it, I'll post title & author.

Stay well~Pood
