How many of you give your suggestions before induction? What is the reasoning behind it compared to giving your suggestions after you reached a hypnotic state?

Why don't you take a good hypnosis/hypnotherapy training course and then you will know the answers. I know we do not accept people under 18 unless accompanied by a parent.
Dr. Matt, owner of this little ol' Forum, has great training programs where you can go all the way to a Doctorate in Hypnotherapy. Interested? All classes are not in Hawaii either.
Pood :)

Let your fingers on the keyboard do the "looking" for you. AmPac stands for American Pacific University. It's written on the very first line of this place.

I give pre hypnotic suggestions.
Its easier for me.
If you give suggestions whilsts in your hypnotic state you face the risk of awakening your CF (not that its totally asleep), since it takes your intellect / analytical part of you to figure out what suggestion you choose.

May I ask who taught you this and even more importantly how successful are you with it? You always give suggestions to your SC while not in a hypnotic trance? What then is the purpose of a lovely hypnotic trance?
Unfortunately one does not "awaken" the innermind with suggestions unless one intends to do so. It seems to me that you are confusing affirmations with hypnotic suggestions.
Just curious~Pood

I was reading some old threads via search on self hypnosis. That is where I read it.
Give Suggestions > Go into hypnotic state > done
