I have been interested in (and read/listened/practiced) hypnosis for some time now. I would like better source material. I am not really interested in Mesmer, or whomever supposedly coined the terms. I do like Erickson, but are his techniques actually taught in his writings?
I like the idea of conversational hypnosis. I tried the Igor Ledochowski audio series with weak and varied results. I have watched a metric ****-ton of NLP courses (mainly Bandler) with little effect.
I realized the necessity of cohorts and public practice. It so happens that I find myself both socially and personally much more prepared to take hypnosis seriously than ever before. But I need more help than what google pukes at me, and amazon-er's recommend.
So good souls of this forum of whom I've yet had the pleasure, please help.
What are the best and most essential books, audio, video, etc etc
Best,
Chris
