Just a question....can a person be hypnotized from someone in a far place? I saw this program released online which claimed to do that...so any ideas?
Thanks

It would be unethical.

Find a person in your area and he or she will be able to help you.

Just a question. Why don't you ask the persons who posted this information?

How does this distance hypnosis work apart from using the internet, telephone, etc?

I've googled for it but only found sites that want you to buy videos for it. So if anyone could elaborate?

I think I could use this to hypnotise my neighbour across the road to turn the loud music off at 2am when I'm trying to get some sleep.

I would probably be easier to call the police and complain about a violation of noise abatement laws.

knowing what the police are like around my area, they'd turn and join the party!

The first thing I've found about this is something about Mesmer and Animal Magnetism at this website. http://hypnosistreatmentcenter.com/page94.html, after wading through the many "distance learning courses" for certification links.

Not had time to read alot from that link as I'm at work, I'm guessing that Hypnotising over Distance is like remote reading/viewing. I mean that you need to be in sync with the willing participant at some sort of level.

I'm interested as today was the first time I've heard of this application of hypnosis.

But thinking more about it, it could be said that Televison & Radio is a kind of Distance Hypnosis. If Merlin was refering to that cryptically earlier in the thread.

Ah well back to some more work (non-hypnotherapy).
