I'm interested in learning about self-hypnosis. Can anyone here recommend some good books on the subject? Thanks!

Hi,
In addition to the books, are there any members from India who provide or know about training in hypnotherapy and NLP?
Regards,
Armaan.

Trancer,
Not to flame you yet a simple search through the archives would provided PLENTY of recommendations. is that so hard??

JimR,
Actually I did try a search for "self hypnosis book"
But this site drops "self" from the search because apparently that's too common a word.
And even a search for "hypnosis book" within just the titles (otherwise a bunch of unrelated threads comes up) only yields 2 threads.
Thanks.
The search engine in this software really sucks.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to the old fashioned way of getting information,, the local library? It seems that everybody wants what they want NOW, and get very upset when someone else fails to provide it at the touch of a button. Besides, we have no idea what book gives the sort of information required by a particular searcher. I have read dozens, and got valued information from every one of them. Any time you think you will get all you might need from one or two books you fail to recognise the value of knowledge...
