Hello

I am complete newbie to hypnosis and NLP and am looking for suitable resources and some feedback.

I came across a site called http://www.salonltd.co.uk by Jamie Smart where he has given an explanation of NLP in a plain english unlike a lot of technical jargon I saw elsewhere. Has anyone tried his nlp course for beginners ?

Also any feedback on a Palzo who combine hypnosis with NLP ?

thanks in advance

Welcome to the community! NLP and related understandings are a life changer. It's like a new language and when you learn it you enjoy talking it instead of what you used to speak. As far as resources go you have found this web group and that can be both good and bad. You may see a little pettiness but as a whole it is beneficial. I think that the creators of this site are one of the better organizations as their intentions are very good. You may not find that else where. If you are looking to take a training I know that there are trainings available in Australia, just look up www.nlp.com. I am not getting any money for giving you this information but I have trained with several nlp organizations and I like Advanced Neuro Dynamics best simply because of the intention and the changes you will see in your own life. The information and skill set is presented well also.

Much of NLP is a derivative of hypnosis to begin with.
It's like combining water with H2O

Hmmmm. Water is filled with all sorts of adulterants and pollutants. H2O is pure.

What are you implying, Merlin?

 Very true Don, and so is the mind, or we wouldn't need hypnosis would we? (G) Perhaps we should consider that what we are doing is purifying the mind of each client. However, since some impurities are of value, we will still need the same care, knowledge, and skills.......

Sounds like you have a water problem.
Maybe you should consider moving.
